on the plus side,this system has a very nice sound quality for the price and the blue ray disc player is great.on the down side when listening to the sound system and you lower the sound level down on the quiet side the sound has a muffled quality,the system seemingly takes forever changing from function to function.it’s also not the easiest system to use.i would buy it again and am over all very pleased.

Panasonic bills itself as a company that is,” slightly ahead of it’s time” and with the SC-BTX70 they have kept their word. This Home Theater System was simple to assemble and produces excellent sound. The coponents produce a superior picture and are user friendly. Amazon pricing made this system an excellent buy.

Usually connecting a home theater to a TV (with cable box, video game, DVD, etc) is a logistical nightmare requiring a million hours and a million cables. If you have an HDMI TV, all you need is this unit, an HDMI cable (to run from the system into the TV), and a digital audio optical cable (to run out of the TV into the system), and you’re set. Sounds excellent for music, movies, and video games without needing to set up surround speakers. Good bass response for size, and $450-475 is a great price for it.
